Shyft

Shyft is full stack a bike sharing marketplace, similar to Turo.

For this project I leveraged React to create encapsulated UI components that manage their own state, Axios to communicate with my backend, and Django/Postgres for speedy API setup on a tight deadline. The backend of Shyft is deployed to Heroku.

Code-laborate

Code-laborate is a full stack application where users can post programming problems they're experiencing and other users can make comments on those posts with helpful solutions!

I designed, built, and deployed this app with Matt Gubernick, Faith Fitts, and Nicole Surawski. We used the MERN stack paired with Bootstrap for their great support of forms and lists, quick client/server communication, and ability to program consistently with JavaScript and JSON. The backend is deployed to Heroku.

Spots

Spots is a full stack application designed to track where you've been and where you'd like to go. Users can create new Spots, update them, and track whether they've seen them. Use it for hiking spots, restaurants, or hidden peaceful places to meditate.

The Frontend was built with Javascript, jQuery, and Bootstrap, and is deployed to GitHub Pages. The API was built with Express and MongoDB, and deployed to Heroku.

NeighborGoods

The second place winner in General Assembly's Small Business Hackathon, NeighborGoods is an app for shoppers looking for local alternatives to Amazon products.

During the 3 day event I primarily focused on programming the client side authentication and business account creation user flows with React, Bootstrap, and Axios. My Project Management experience also came in handy for hashing out feasibility with the designers and keeping our team on track.
